The OMRON Body Composition Monitor and Scale with Bluetooth connectivity (BCM-500) performs smart tracking of a comprehensive array of these six body metrics: Body Weight, Body Fat percentage, Visceral Fat, Skeletal Muscle percentage, Resting Metabolism and BMI.

The BCM-500 measures body composition based on human physiology. Muscles, blood vessels and bones are body tissue, which contain high water content and conduct electricity easily. Body fat is tissue which stores little water and, therefore, has little electric conductivity. This electric conductivity is also known as “impedance.” This monitor uses the Bioelectric Impedance (BI) method, which sends a low-level electrical current through your body to determine the amount of water in each tissue. Along with your height, weight, age and gender information, this monitor determines your body composition.

This OMRON monitor and scale stores up to 30 readings for four profiles, tracking your progress. But you get unlimited memory by downloading the free OMRON connect US/CAN app on your iOS® or Android® devices (for a complete list of compatible devices, visit OmronHealthcare.com/connect). Easy to use, this OMRON body composition monitor and scale can be used by adults up to 330 pounds and 6.5 feet tall. It features an easy-to-read LCD display, a four-person memory profile for the whole family to use as well as a guest mode.

Your BCM-500 Body Composition Monitor and Scale with Bluetooth, excluding the batteries, is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship appearing within 1 year from the date of purchase, when used in accordance with the instructions provided with the monitor. The above warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser. We will, at our option, replace without charge any monitor covered by the above warranty. Replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under the above warranty. See Instruction Manual for full warranty details.
